Hi I’m Hayley Mielnicki! A Registered Dietitian- Nutritionist living in Upstate New York. I currently work for Oneida-Herkimer-Madison BOCES and Utica City Schools as a School Dietitian creating the breakfast and lunch menus for 16 local districts.

I was attracted to the field of dietetics through my passion for cooking, and was inspired by having grown up in a family that valued healthy eating and that supported local agriculture. After graduating from Johnson and Wales University, earning my degree in culinary nutrition with a concentration in dietetics in 2017, I continued on to my Dietetic Internship at Syracuse University.

The recipes on HealthbyHayl are created to fuel each and every body, catering to any substitutions that are needed. So, feel free to mix and match, eyeball some measurements and get messy (because you know I did!).
